To show appreciation to the renewed members of SAA and to welcome the newest members to the organization, SAA leadership invites all members to dinner and networking with Tech alumni on Tech Tower Lawn! Students who did not join SAA or renew their membership earlier in the day can do so at the door.
Featured alum Riccardo Ullio (CE 90, MS CEE 93), chef and owner of renown Atlanta URestaurants including Fritti, Escorpion and Sotto Sotto, will be onsite to meet students and serve up FREE dinner from his restaurants. Enjoy...
- Neopolitan pizza from Fritti
- Lasagnette bolognese and penne with wild mushrooms from Sotto Sotto
- Chicken and portobello tacos, a mexican wedge salad and quinoa salad from Escorpion
- Gelato and sorbetto
A number of Tech alumni in different fields will host tables. Attendees will be given a list of alumni present, and can chose who they would like to meet and have dinner with.
Tech grad, former football star and owner of Kent's Country Cookies, Kent Hill (IMGT '79), will also be onsite handing out individually wrapped chocolate chip cookies to all attendees.
In addition, SAA members present at the evening event have the chance to win two $50 URestaurants gift certificates, an AirTran voucher and an Xbox 360 4GB Kinect bundle from Microsoft in honor of Craig Mundie's (Tech grad and Microsoft's Chief Research and Strategy Officer) October 27th Get Ready for the Real World presentation!
