SAA Kick Off

SAA is excited to kick-off its 2012-2013 membership year on September 6th, with an all campus event during the day from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and member only event in the evening before T-Night from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity to learn about the benefits and value of an SAA membership all while enjoying free food and giveaways!

SAA Leadership plans to highlight the most popular benefits of SAA members, Alumni Connection, Spirit Days, Mentor Jackets, Traditions, and Giving to Tech. So Be Smart and make plans to stop by one of our 5 locations or look out for our mobile locations to learn about SAA programs/events, meet alumni, enjoy free stuff, and JOIN SAA.

My time as part of SAA's Ramblin' On committee was a phenomenal one. I simply loved the experience, which allowed me to help plan a major event while developing necessary communication and cooperation skills with both other members of the committee and professionals, as well. Mentor Jackets program is awesome. I not only have a wonderful mentor, but also ended up having a lifetime friend who can offer me advice and help whenever I need it. Being a part of the Student Alumni Association opened doors at Georgia Tech that I would never have dreamed of. During my time as a member of SAA, I was given the opportunity to coordinate a Dinner Jacket event with Tom Fanning, the CEO of Southern Company and a fellow Yellow Jacket.
